ARTIST BIO

I paint abstracts and greeting cards using acrylics, crayons, markers, and pastels, intuitively layering colors to highlight truths that change depending on the perspective. Juxtapositions of color show joy, exhaustion, innocence, melancholy, or chagrin, depending on the observer. The flux in my paintings mirrors the ambivalence of our times. I arrived at painting after years of pottery, collage, and overly ambitious home improvement projects. I have found my place.
