Anna Steinhouse is a London-based figurative artist. Anna was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and moved to England in her youth to complete her higher education, where she settled and worked for several years in the city. She let her creativity flourish after giving up her banking career in 2012. Since, Anna has studied at various British art schools including Heatherleys, Slade, Royal Drawing School, and the Art Academy.

 

Anna's passion lies in portraiture where she focuses on individual life stories capturing her interpretation through careful consideration of color, composition, and themes. Anna also paints landscapes and designs with a figure in space creating a visibly emotive and thought-provoking narrative. 

 

In 2017, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters selected her work for the annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries. In 2017 Anna’s Solo exhibition ‘Home away from Home’ was held at the Embassy of Georgia. Anna studied at the Art Academy in London. Her commissioned works are in private collections in the UK, Europe, America, and the Middle East.
