Another triumph for ART4US Itinerant 2026

in beautiful Trento, Italy!

 

 

Our host Alessandra outdid herself, landing us a jaw-dropping gallery — Sala Thun di Torre Mirana — inside one of Trento’s most magnificent buildings. Christiane, Elisabetta, Davide, Katty, Nana, and Grazia teamed up with local talents Dolores Baldo, Mario Baldo, Mario Ricci, Valentina Port, Paolo Dalponte, and Elisabetta Doniselli.

 

We explored the magnificent Castello del Buonconsiglio, site of the historic Council of Trent, and spent an unforgettable evening at the Arena di Verona for a breathtaking production of La Traviata. We soaked up Futurism at the wonderfully informative MART exhibit in Rovereto, fell under the spell of Lake Garda and lovely Riva del Garda, and felt transported to Austria in charming Bolzano. And of course, there were the mountains — those glorious landscapes of vineyards and orchards that make Trentino famous for its grapes and green apples.

 

Endless gratitude to our hosts Alessandra and Damiano, the Baldo and Ricci families, and every Trento artist in the show — especially Paolo and Elisabetta who accompanied us to a great city tour and lovely lunch under the portici. To Philip, our driver (missed exits included, always with a smile 🤣🤣). To Paolo Baroldi for the Mezzacorona wine tasting. To Maby and Kenneth for the long trip to see us. To Lea Wernicke for the great conversation. To Tara and Milo who joined us from the UK. And to Yoshi, our mascot pup, who wasn’t quite feeling himself but was loved all the same.

 

Finally — cheers to our ART4US artists who flew in from Washington DC, Tbilisi, and Essen, spouses and artworks in tow.  Between the sightseeing and the aperitivo in Trento’s cafés, this trip was pure magic ✨
