Nataliya is a native of Ukraine who came to the United States to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Administration. After graduating, she settled in Washington DC she now calls her home. With little to no experience in the arts while growing up, she has quickly developed an interest and curiosity for color, creative process, and the use of mixed media. Over the years, she became an arts activist living and creating art in the Washington DC area.
She is an award-winning member artist of the Torpedo Factory, The Art League (Arlington, VA), and the Maryland Federation of Art.
While Nataliya's work continuously evolves, she is now focused on creating abstract, impressionistic, and digital collages dedicated to the history of the Metro Rail System of Washington D.C.
She is known for her vivid colors, texture, and the use of mixed media. She is a huge fan of Jackson Pollock, Vincent van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and is inspired by modern artists such as Delna Dastur, Anna Blatman to name a few.
