Visual Art - Scip Barnhart
Narrative and Poetry – Mike Maggio
Scip Barnhart teaches Drawing as a Visual Language and Printmaking and Art of the Book at Georgetown University. In addition, he is the Printmaking Artist in Residence at American University.
Mike Maggio is a poet and fiction writer who has authored ten books, including his forthcoming poetry collection, Let’s Call It Paradise. He is the former Northern Regional Vice-President of the Poetry Society of Virginia. Read more of his work at www.mikemaggio.net and www.art-4-us.com/mike

Visual Art Submissions:
Up to 2 digital Images – jpeg format only, 72 or 300 dpi, not larger than 1,000 pixels on the longest side.
Label your jpeg with the initial of your name followed by a dot and your full last name, and the image number 1 or 2 (exp. John Smith = J.Smith1 – J.Smith2)
All entries must be accompanied by the ENTRY FORM below
Poetry - Fiction and Non-Fiction Submissions:
Fiction and Non-Fiction submissions should be 10 pages or less and should address the theme of confronting rules and overturning conventions. Submissions must not have been previously published.
Visual, collage and canceled text poems are welcome and encouraged. Original unpublished poems of up to 40 lines confronting rules and overturning conventions should be submitted as a pdf document - Poets who wish to combine words & drawings, calligrams, or visual poems must also submit a pdf document. All pdf documents must be saved with the name and last name of the author.

Entry fee for online show only:
Free for ART4US members. $5.00 for Non-Members –The entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event work is rejected. Before entering, artists should ensure that work is available to exhibit during the dates of the show. Artists, Photographers, Designers, Writers, and Poets should not substitute another work for an accepted work, alter a work, change the sales price, or withdraw or remove a work after it has been accepted. Sales will be handled directly by the artists, ART4US Coop will not take commissions on sales.

Artists and Writers accepted in the Online show will be eligible for the in-person show, however, a second selection will be made if new work will be presented.
